Ken Walker has more than 30 years experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. He focuses primarily on Logistics and Supply Chain strategy, design and implementation, facility design, MHE design, operations and productivity improvement, and project management.

Ken Walker is a senior executive comfortable working at both a tactical and strategic level with expertise in logistics network design and implementation, facility planning and implementation, logistics systems design and installation, and operational process and productivity improvement including incentive systems. His experience encompasses a wide range of U.S. and global retail and CPG companies.

Before joining The Context Group , Mr. Walker founded Supply Chain Execution Consulting LLC, a firm specializing in Supply Chain innovation, design, execution and related benefit realization. Applying his 30+ years of Supply Chain and Logistics experience in the consumer packaged goods industry as well as all forms of retail. He worked with numerous organizations to fashion business and Supply Chain strategies, implement those strategies, and develop operating practices to deliver high value products and services to their customers.

Prior to founding Supply Chain Execution Consulting, Mr. Walker spent 24 years with Kurt Salmon Associates’ Logistics practice, 18 years as a Principal in the firm. In his tenure with KSA, he specialized in the development and implementation of pragmatic solutions to complex logistics and supply chain issues. The solutions range from individual productivity improvement, to operations improvement, to facilities and MHE design and implementation to logistics and supply chain strategy design and implementation. Mr. Walker’s responsibilities at KSA included several significant management roles culminating as Regional Director for KSA’s West Coast practice.

Mr. Walker served nine years as a commissioned officer in the US Army Transportation Corps.

He holds a Bachelors of Science from Iowa State University in Physical Distribution and a Masters Degree from the Florida Institute of Technology in Transportation Management and Economics. He is a frequent speaker for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Food Marketing Institute and the Grocery Manufacturers of America.
